Professional Evaluation
Working in education you constantly get evaluated and receive feedback. My first year teaching I was very nervous about my first evaluation, however, I know that the feedback was what I needed to make me a better teacher. After reviewing the feedback from Principal, Assistant Principal, or Academic Coaches, I figure out ways to improve in each area I fall short, or in an area I fell I can personally improve in.

Most of my evaluations are done through TKES. This will be my last year on a Full TKES plan, where I get three evaluations per year. I have to do one self evaluation and determine an area I feel I need improvements in. Afterwards, my Principal, Assistant Principal, will begin my observations and evaluations on myself throughout the year.

I really valued their feedback because it helps me grow as a teacher. The feedback helps me identify ways to improve my class teachings and facilitate learning to my students. I feel positive about all my evaluations whether they are negative or positive, the feedbacks allows to alter any changes I need to implement and improve curriculum.

All evaluations experiences are beneficial. Evaluations are important to identify any strengths and weaknesses to show where you can improve teaching regardless of the evaluation outcome. The ultimate goal as a teacher is to ensure success for students.

Evaluation 2018-2019
Full TKES evaluations from school year done by Principal.
This TKES evaluation was very important to me because it was from my first year as a teacher. This evaluation shows where I was at when I first began as a teacher. TKES evaluations are important because they help determine how you evaluate yourself as a teacher, versus how your administration team evalutes your performance within the classroom. I was very pleased with my first year evaluations.
Observation Evaluations 2019-2020
Classroom observation from school year done by Principal.
Classroom observations are done throughout the school year to determine your progression. Classroom observations are unexpected and happen randomly throughout the school year. Most classroom observations are done by a school Principal, Assistant Principal, District Office Staff, Academic Coaches, or Superintendent. Even though my observation was unexpected; I was expect the unexpected, therefore, I was prepared.
