"The Mask Normal" as I call it, is the new way of going about our day to day living, as long as you wear a mask and practice social distancing.

I though it was going to be hard to keep my students 6 feet apart at all times and I knew they were not goin to wear their mask all day either. However, they have proved me wrong! They are wearing the mask and standing 6ft feet apart as much as possible. I believe that teaching high school through the pandemic has been more easier, than it would have been if I taught lower grade levels. I know that the students in my class find it challenging to not be under their friends so much, but they have adjusted to "the mask normal." Thank God for having mask breaks throughout the day, it really helps a lot. My school system really did good and planning out the return to school phase for our students. Even through they only come twice a week and a majority are still virtual, everything is working out just fine.
